‘’What is your memory of your childhood’s library?’’ This is the first question we ask ourselves. When we got an opportunity to design the library for kindergarten and elementary school, we thought we might get through similar experience for public school. Previously, we defined library as a room containing collections of books for learning. Library should be quiet enough for reading. Some students get fully learning experience for just reading at lunch time, but some use this place for taking a nap or playing board game or making noise playing hide and seek. Although we passed many experience in that room, library is still interpreted as a book collecting room for knowledge researching.
‘’And how do you want this library to be?’’ From what we have already mentioned, there are many childhood experiences that happened in the room called Library such as playing, running, sleeping etc. Some kids never had a chance to read a book since the time is not enough for them to read as there is only half an hour left from their lunch time. Therefore, the kid should spend this time walking for the food digestion or doing activities or take a nap for refreshing themselves before afternoon classes. We can conclude that the book in the library is more convenient for borrowing it back to read at home.

We separated the objective into two parts. The first part is the physical function which mean the source and the method depending on the physical area. This included splitting between active area and passive area with some significant function, the appropriate usability of the phenomenon happened in the period of time or incident. The second part is how could represent our knowledge and understanding to the local people in community. This questioned us about what the background of Samutsakhon’s economy is. Finally, we got the answer that most people in Samutsakhon are doing coastal fisheries and exporting. However, since we are effect by global warming, causing coastal erosion, marine resources decreasing and micro plastic contamination which caused by human. We desired to cultivate the new generation on protecting and looking after these local resources, and motivate these kids on waste separation for recycle and upcycle or bringing unused material or trash to rebuild new furniture.
We expected that our questioning and answering process in this task should be benefit for the kid’s learning and create awareness for them. One day, these people will forward their childhood’s experience to the social and the next generation and this this will eventually extended the Earth’s lifespan.
